
Jen has worked in biomedical research for over 20 years including drug development, device validation and human clinical research trials. While working with a variety of species in the past, her recent years of focus have been on swine and their role in the biomedical research field. She has worked with researchers to develop the swine as a research tool for different types of studies including cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurological, reproductive, metabolic and as a model for various types of cancer treatment. Several of these studies have been completed to GLP standards and have received FDA approval. Jen’s current role in the center focuses on study design and development, budgeting, and general study coordination.
